UK Glamping at it’s finest!

UK Glamping at it’s finest!

It’s not surprising that for a number of people, their first camping experience often becomes their last – you only have to consider the bugs, wild animals, sudden storms, leaking tents, smelly sleeping bags, and questionable food to see why!  If this is true for you, there is now a camping option growing in popularity: glamorous camping, otherwise known as glamping.

Far from being a new concept, glamping actually started in the early 1900’s, on safari…rich Europeans and Americans who weren’t prepared to rough it created the demand for luxurious tents stuffed with proper beds, Persian rugs, antiques, luxurious bedding and of course it wouldn’t be proper not to have a butler, chef, and numerous other staff on standby too!

So actually, in comparison, the original glampers probably had it far better than we do today, but if you haven’t yet delved into the current world of glamping, you’re in for a nice surprise!  Whilst you may not find such 5 star safari accommodation as described above, you will find instead whimsical shepherd huts, yurts, tipis, wigwams, and a plethora of other types of glamping!

From Yurts to Tipis, Wigwams, Pods, Luxury Tents, VW Camper Vans, Hobbit Holes, find your ultimate Glamping Accommodation throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
