Dawn Chorus Holidays – Suffolk

Welcome to the tranquillity of Barsham.  Have a wonderful experience with the family, glamping in North Suffolk in the Waveney valley. The decadent tents can sleep a family of 6 – 8 in style with running hot water, and wood burning cooker complimented with an electric stove, private loo, and showers.  Dogs welcome.

Children will delight in the space, fresh air and seeing how a working farm works. This is a time to get away from all things modern and resort back to nature. We are working farm; we moved from Essex in 1999 and set up a free-range egg business. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep, plus a few cattle.

While staying with us you will be able to see where your eggs come from. If you are lucky and come during lambing time, you and the family might be able to feed the lambs.

We also have a small farm shop where you will be able to buy our homegrown meat, plus eggs, preserves and other items.

We have two children called Hannah aged 15 and Ollie aged 14. Two dogs called Ellie and Max.
The Tents are based around African safari tents, perfect for families to get to nature. Inspired by the VIP lodges of South Africa, they are comfortable and include everything required to make your stay extra special. We believe the best canvas accommodation you will find anywhere in the UK. We have two lodges, each has a double bed in the master room, and a bunkroom and a custom made cabin double bed which has double doors opening either into the living room or the bunkroom. We also have a sofa bed in the living area to make it eight bedded.
Each lodge has its own flush away toilet plus a shower at the back.

Each lodge is fully equipped and comes with a wood burning stove.
