Angel Shepherd’s Hut – Glamping in Shaftesbury, Dorset

This stylish Shepherd’s Hut is Jonathan’s own design based on a traditional Shepherd’s hut but adapted to provide contemporary, spacious glamping holiday.

The cabin is on a small family run farm that has animal welfare and sustainability at its core. Your complimentary breakfast hamper will include delicious sausages and bacon and Lucy’s homemade baguettes or Sourdough bread, as well as other local products. Depending the season, cider, lamb, pork and chicken will be available to buy from the farm.

Inside this off-grid Shepherd’s Hut is a double bed with country style linens and cushions, in the center is a compact and well designed cooking area with plumbed sink (solar powered H&C) and log burning stove. Very comfy camping! Fresh coffee, tea, sugar and olive oil as well as locally produced natural toiletries are included. To the right is a seating area which converts into another double bed.

Right behind the hut is a small purpose built hut housing the shower room (solar powered hot water) and eco-freindly compost loo.

This hut is well and truly tucked away in its own private spot next to a small wooded area in the corner of a field – well away from any other dwellings. Nature abounds so we wouldn’t blame you for just enjoying the peace – in fact it is spot on for a romantic break away from everything and everybody.
