Yurts at Bolding Way, Weybourne – Norfolk

We have two different yurts!
The English Yurt is only lined with canvas, but has a wood burner.
The Mongolian Yurt is canvas with a felt inner liner (warmer or cooler!) this only needs a halagen heater to keep it realy cosy!

Location and Surroundings
The Yurts are both in a superbly secluded location with attractive surroundings with view of the windmill and church tower and within easy walking distance of the sea, pub & shop.

They both individually enjoy a very private position, set within their own secluded and private fenced off area of the campsite, which is just 12 pitches. The Yurts are both raised off the ground on decking and have a decked veranda.

With a sunny south/south west outlook, this location and holiday is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, each in its own private area where you can soak up the summer sun by day and by evening enjoy gazing up at the stars (North Norfolk night skies are full of stars-no light pollution!). Something you can really appreciate when staying under canvas, while keeping warm by the brazier (campfire) and enjoying a barbeque.

It would also make a beautiful setting for a honeymoon.

For couples and those with young children they’re a romantic get-away-from-it-all location, offering the chance to enjoy a lovely tucked away spot in picturesque countryside and an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Accommodation
They’re generously equipped with hanging Tea lights, bed side lights, a wind up lantern, fridge, campers’ kitchen hob & grill and an electric supply – ideal for charging mobile devices.

For total comfort our tents come with a full double bed all made up & ready for you, with a king size duvet. We would suggest letting the children have their own tent in your garden!

To create the experience each one comes with a means of heating which makes camping in the cooler months of spring and autumn a beautiful snug experience. The Mongolian Yurt has a wonderful layer of insulation and just a halogen heater, as the wood burner was “too hot!” The English Yurt has a small wood burner. During the warmer days, sit out and relax on the decked veranda, which provides the final luxurious touch to your glamping experience.

Weybourne is on the North Norfolk coast with some of the most beautiful beaches and countryside around to visit. We even have possibly the best beach in England at Holkham just 25 mins away by car or 40 min by bus and a small part of the huge beach is again clothes optional/naturist. Another bonus of this beach is the sea is shallow and safe so great for all ages.

Weybourne is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is part of the Heritage Coastline which links up with both the Weavers and Peddars Way. Weybourne is a conservation area so flint work and tradition are important.

Weybourne Beach (no swimming – due to strong under tow) is only a 12-minute walk away & dogs are welcome. The beach leads straight onto the cliffs, which provide a scenic walk to the town of Sheringham and is part of the “coastal path walk”. We have good transport link along the coast, thanks to the coasthopper bus.

Bolding Way is located within the village, which means it’s within easy reach of the local shop, restaurant and pub.

For more info on the village, please visit our Weybourne page.

We run a smallholding with camping and other self-catering cottages. We offer and promote a friendly clothes optional policy. Although some nudity may be encountered on the campsite and Summer House (hot tub area), probably more during hot spells and there is absolutely no obligation to strip off. But with the private setting of your tent even the non-naturists amongst you may be tempted to grab an all over tan. If the weather is right, just imagine yourself to be in a Mediterranean resort!
